Before developing the event concept, we conducted a preliminary survey among Myanmar youth living in Thailand to better understand their current status, interests, and willingness to pay for an event like this. A total of 51 responses were collected from students, fresh graduates, job seekers, and early-career professionals.
The insights revealed strong interest in networking opportunities (74.5%), exploring job opportunities (72.5%), and connecting with companies (70.6%), highlighting the demand for a platform that links young talent with career pathways.
Participants were also interested in personal development activities (47.1%), career preparation discussions (45.1%), and interview preparation (35.3%), while panel talk topics such as networking skills, job market insights in Thailand, and career preparation were among the most requested.
In terms of pricing, most respondents preferred an affordable entry fee below 200 THB, indicating the importance of accessibility for students and early-career participants. These insights guided the event strategy and helped shape the program to focus on career opportunities, networking, and personal growth for Myanmar youth in Bangkok.
